Vivo Energy Kenya has issued a public notice warning that fraudulent job advertisements falsely bearing its name are being circulated among Kenyan job seekers.

The firm clarified that all authentic vacancies are posted exclusively on its official website careers page and can be applied for through an online form or by emailing a CV and cover letter to hr.kenya@vivoenergy.com.

Vivo Energy Kenya stressed that it never charges any fees at any stage of its recruitment process, a point intended to help applicants spot scams that demand payment for job consideration.

Job seekers are advised to verify any offer by contacting the company directly on 0703 025000 before taking any action.

The company also warned that it will not be liable for any loss or harm resulting from fraudulent adverts that misuse its name without authorization.

Vivo Energy Kenya, headquartered in Nairobi, operates the Shell‑branded retail network across Kenya and is a major player in the country's downstream energy sector.

Employment scams that impersonate established corporations have become a recurring concern in Kenya, especially during periods of high unemployment, according to the company's Human Resources notice.
