Footage recorded inside the staffroom of Forest Primary School in Kiminini, Trans‑Nzoia County, shows a woman identified as Dona Makena on her knees, crying out in pain while several staff members remain seated at their desks.

The video begins with Makena entering the school to seek clarification on the lunch fees charged for her younger brother, a visit that quickly escalated into a physical confrontation with multiple male staff members and other individuals present in the room.

In one clip, Makena is seen being grabbed and shoved near a large desk as she tries to pull away, while another clip shows her wrists bound with a black cloth as she repeatedly raises her hands and pleads for help.

The situation intensified when Makena’s father intervened, prompting a second physical confrontation involving additional people in the staffroom, as captured in the recordings.

Social media users reacted with anger, urging the Teachers Service Commission, the Ministry of Education and the National Police Service to investigate the incident and consider revoking the teaching licences of any staff found culpable.

Public demand for accountability has been amplified by comments questioning how a dispute over school fees could devolve into such a violent encounter, with many calling for swift disciplinary action.

As of the latest reports, the school board has not released an official statement addressing the allegations or the circulating video footage.
