Sean "Diddy" Combs was moved by ambulance from the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix in New Jersey at about 1 a.m. on Saturday, 10 October, after sustaining a head injury.

Medics reported that the 56‑year‑old music executive remained conscious and was able to speak throughout the emergency care.

According to sources cited by TMZ and later confirmed by other outlets, Combs spent roughly six hours outside the prison receiving treatment before being taken back to the facility before sunrise.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on the incident, citing privacy, safety and security concerns.

Prison officials have not disclosed the cause of the injury, and no further details have been released about the medical assessment.

Combs is serving a 50‑month sentence at the low‑security facility, located about 40 miles from Philadelphia, after his conviction in July 2025.

His projected release date has been adjusted several times, most recently listed as 2 March 2028 by People and NBC.

Earlier this year, reports indicated Combs was involved in a physical altercation with another inmate in July and has spent time in solitary confinement twice.

All available reports confirm that the injury is not believed to be life‑threatening and that he has since been returned to FCI Fort Dix.
