Identity‑security firm Saviynt announced that Kamel Heus has been appointed Vice President of Sales for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

Heus, who resides in Dubai, will oversee Saviynt’s business across the MEA market, including Turkey, as the company seeks growth in key territories.

Role and immediate priorities

In his new role Heus will drive new business, renewals and customer expansion while shaping the regional channel strategy and expanding the partner ecosystem.

His near‑term focus includes deepening Saviynt’s presence in Saudi Arabia and building local hosting capabilities to meet data‑residency requirements.

Heus will also address the emerging risk of AI agents by promoting Saviynt’s Zuma platform, which provides visibility and least‑privilege controls for non‑human identities.

Industry relevance

Chief Commercial Officer Pete Angstadt said the MEA region presents a significant opportunity as organisations accelerate digital transformation and adopt AI, increasing demand for secure identity governance.

Heus highlighted that the Middle East and Africa have become one of the fastest‑growing cybersecurity markets, with identity security central to protecting both human users and AI agents.

Future steps

Saviynt plans to expand its local go‑to‑market team, strengthen partner relationships and support MEA customers in securing both human and AI identities as cloud and digital initiatives accelerate.
