Pesapal announced a partnership with Nairobi‑based consultancy Drift Consult to promote RACK, a business‑management software that combines sales tracking, inventory control and payment processing for retailers and hospitality venues.
The collaboration merges Pesapal’s mobile‑money and card payment infrastructure with Drift Consult’s advisory and technology‑implementation services, targeting firms that want to streamline daily operations and gain better oversight.
Under the agreement, Drift Consult will advise clients on strategic gaps and guide the rollout of the platform, while Pesapal will supply the payment gateway that links mobile‑money and card transactions to the RACK system.
RACK enables retailers to view sales data across multiple outlets, keep real‑time inventory records and automate reconciliation of payments, reducing the need for separate bookkeeping tools.
For restaurants, bars and other hospitality businesses, the platform offers order‑management and checkout functions designed to simplify transaction handling during busy periods.
Pesapal founder Agosta Liko said the service moves beyond simple payment acceptance, providing technology that gives operators visibility across their operations to support better decision‑making.
Drift Consult co‑founder Ferdinand Eloto highlighted that RACK supplies operational insights that can improve productivity and inform management choices for small and medium‑size enterprises.
The combined solution is positioned as a way for SMEs to avoid the challenges of maintaining separate sales, inventory and payment systems and to reduce manual data entry errors.
The partnership’s success will depend on how well the software integrates with existing business processes and the consistency with which merchants use the analytics it generates.
