Blossom Arise, a 19‑year‑old Nigerian, graduated with a First‑Class degree in Economics from the University of Ilorin, concluding a series of academic and professional achievements that began in her mid‑teens.

At 16, she obtained the Accounting Technicians Scheme (AAT) qualification, marking her entry into formal accounting studies well before most university entrants.

A year later, at 17, she secured an internship with KPMG, gaining practical exposure at one of the world’s leading professional services firms while still in secondary school.

By 18, Arise had cleared all professional examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a credential that typically requires several years of study.

During this period she also founded and led a campus ministry at the University of Ilorin, integrating her faith‑based service with her academic responsibilities.

Arise announced her graduation on the social platform X on 21 October 2026, summarising her journey as driven by “God, ambition, service and excellence.”

Her story has attracted widespread online attention, with users praising the speed and breadth of her accomplishments before the age of 20.
