NCBA Bank announced a new education‑focused proposition aimed at Kenya’s more than 40,000 public schools, offering a blend of financing, transaction banking and digital services.

The suite includes platforms for school‑fees collection, cash‑management tools, working‑capital facilities, infrastructure and asset financing, vehicle and trade finance, as well as digital banking and investment products.

Schools can use the solutions to streamline fee collection, improve cash‑flow, fund expansion projects and acquire critical assets such as ICT equipment and transport.

For teachers, NCBA introduced a Workplace Banking package that provides salary accounts with early processing, salary advances, unsecured personal loans, mortgage and asset financing, plus mobile lending and digital banking services.

The bank says the teacher‑focused offering is designed to give educators convenient credit, flexible financing for home ownership and long‑term wealth‑creation options.

NCBA’s education agenda also extends to parents and students through savings, investment and financing products that help families plan for education expenses.

Dennis Njau, Group Director of Retail Banking, highlighted that the bank’s commitment goes beyond sponsorships, emphasizing the need for specialised banking as schools expand, digitise and invest in modern learning environments.

NCBA reinforced its sector focus by acting as Title Sponsor of the 2026 World Teachers’ Day Gala Dinner hosted by International Schools in Kenya, a platform that celebrates teachers and underscores the bank’s belief that education drives economic growth.
