NCBA Bank announced the rollout of its PropertyDuka digital property marketplace beyond Nairobi, focusing on the towns of Nakuru and Naivasha.
The platform is aimed at developers, real estate agents and investors, offering an AI‑driven hub that links property listings with NCBA’s financing and advisory services.
NCBA said active users on PropertyDuka have risen sharply, from 4,500 in September to over 625,000, reflecting growing interest in digital property tools.
The marketplace now hosts 216 property listings and has generated 148 applications for NCBA’s financial products and 95 requests to open bank accounts.
At a breakfast briefing in Nakuru, NCBA presented the platform to local stakeholders, emphasizing that most urban households in Nakuru rent their homes.
Dennis Njau, NCBA Group’s director of retail banking, said the expansion seeks to give regional developers and realtors greater visibility while helping prospective buyers discover suitable properties.
Njau added that the platform also supports customers with financing, advisory and home‑set‑up services, positioning PropertyDuka as a full‑cycle property ecosystem.
The bank is inviting more regional developers and real‑estate agencies to join PropertyDuka, aiming to broaden the range of properties available to buyers and investors.
