Nairobi businessman Simon Kabu announced that he will arrange a three‑day holiday on the Coast for student Jahenda, who became the focus of a viral video that appeared to show her being bullied in a public toilet.

Kabu said the incident touched him deeply as a father of two and motivated him to provide the getaway as a way for Jahenda to recover away from public scrutiny.

He asked his daughter Maurine, who runs Adequate Safaris, to organise the three‑day trip, and shared a contact number for Jahenda or her family to arrange the details.

Kabu clarified that the holiday is a gesture of support rather than a solution to the alleged assault, emphasizing that it is intended to give Jahenda time to heal.

The offer follows a day after youths gathered at Redeemed Gospel Church in Buruburu demanding justice for Jahenda, after rumors linked a church member to the incident.

Pastor Felix Kavoi denied any familial connection to the girl involved and argued that the church should not be held responsible for the alleged actions of an individual.
