Nairobi City County has opened 60 Revenue Assistant II vacancies as part of a wider recruitment exercise that includes more than 300 posts across 25 job categories.

The positions are permanent and pensionable and are open to candidates who hold a Diploma in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or an equivalent qualification and have at least three years of experience in a comparable revenue‑collection role.

Successful applicants will receive a gross monthly package of KSh 47,900 to KSh 58,530, comprising a basic salary of KSh 33,900‑44,530, a KSh 10,000 house allowance and a KSh 4,000 commuter allowance.

Revenue Assistant II officers will collect revenue, issue receipts through the county’s approved systems, serve invoices and notices, and maintain payer data, placing them at the frontline of Nairobi’s revenue mobilisation efforts.

Applications must be submitted online via the Nairobi City County recruitment portal; manual submissions are not accepted. The deadline for submissions is 28 October 2026.

Candidates must satisfy Chapter Six of the Constitution on leadership and integrity and provide clearance certificates from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the Ethics and Anti‑Corruption Commission, the Kenya Revenue Authority, the Higher Education Loans Board and a Credit Reference Bureau.

Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted; those who do not receive a response should consider their application unsuccessful.

The county describes itself as an equal‑opportunity employer and encourages qualified women and persons living with disabilities to apply.
