MultiChoice has streamlined its DStv offering in Kenya from six to four packages, with the changes taking effect on 5 November 2026.
The entry‑level DStv Starter now costs Sh750 per month and includes up to 116 channels, adding SuperSport KICKOFF for a weekly live top‑league match.
The mid‑tier DStv Select is priced at Sh1,500 per month, while DStv Sports costs Sh3,000 and offers up to 159 channels, including every Premier League match and UEFA Champions, Europa and Conference League games.
The premium DStv Ultimate tier is set at Sh7,300 per month and expands the channel lineup to around 180, adding Formula 1, MotoGP, major cricket, rugby, ATP tennis and golf majors.
All four packages and their prices are also available on the DStv Stream app, allowing subscribers to access the same content via mobile devices.
MultiChoice is also lowering hardware costs; from 5 November, an HD decoder and satellite dish will sell for Sh1,500 with a Sh500 installation fee.
Chief executive Nzola Miranda described the overhaul as a defining moment in MultiChoice’s 30‑year presence in Kenya, noting a comprehensive review of the product portfolio to match consumer needs.
The company affirmed its commitment to local content, announcing continued investment in Kenyan productions such as the upcoming show "Chamaa".
