MultiChoice Group, a Canal+ company, announced a restructuring of its DStv line‑up, cutting the number of packages from six to four and setting the entry price at KES 750.
The four bundles are: DStv Starter (KES 750, up to 116 channels), DStv Select (KES 1,500, up to 149 channels), DStv Sports (KES 3,000, up to 159 channels) and DStv Ultimate (KES 7,300, up to 180 channels).
Starter includes popular local and kids’ channels such as Maisha Magic Plus, Cartoon Network and Disney Junior, plus the new SuperSport KICKOFF channel that airs selected Premier League matches.
Select adds refreshed movie channels, a broader mix of local and international series, and a wider sports offering while retaining all the kids’ channels.
Sports is the first DStv pack to bundle all Premier League, UEFA Champions, Europa and Conference League matches together with WWE, UFC and other premium sports, and it also includes the general entertainment channels from the Select tier.
Ultimate remains the most comprehensive offering, combining the full Sports and Movies & Series line‑up and adding premium motorsport, cricket, rugby, ATP tennis and major golf tournaments.
The new packages are also available on DStv Stream.
The launch coincides with the DStv Expect+ campaign, which offers HD decoders and satellite dishes for KES 1,500 and a reduced installation fee of KES 500 from 5 Nov 2026.
Nzola Miranda, CEO of MultiChoice Kenya, called the overhaul a “defining moment” in the company’s 30‑year presence in Kenya, stressing a focus on affordability and relevance to Kenyan households.
MultiChoice also reaffirmed its commitment to local content, noting upcoming Kenyan productions such as the series “Chamaa” slated for release in the coming months.
