Education programmes delivered in partnership with Mitrelli have recorded more than 1.5 million learning journeys across Angola and Senegal, and the cumulative total is projected to rise above 2.3 million by 2032.

The partnership focuses on a continuum from early childhood to higher education, linking learning infrastructure with national economic priorities.

In Angola, the collaboration has reinforced 52 technical and professional schools, eight Youth Villages and eight entrepreneurship centres, expanding the scope of vocational and entrepreneurship training.

A new university campus – Baía Farta University Campus – Katyavala Bwila University – is under construction in Benguela Province, designed for roughly 8,500 students and offering programmes in medicine, law, economics and education sciences.

In Senegal, Mitrelli is supporting a national network of vocational training centres aimed at aligning skills development with the country’s economic priorities.

Mitrelli’s President Haim Taib, who set a 2023 goal to train one million Africans over ten years, said the initiative reflects a broader vision of investing in local talent and innovation.

CEO Rodrigo Manso highlighted that the partnerships aim to anticipate future industry skill needs, ensuring that education infrastructure is matched by a skilled workforce.
