Meta announced the creation of Meta Enterprise Platform, a business division designed to help companies deploy artificial intelligence for growth, customer engagement and operational tasks.

The initial offering will include the Muse agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API and Muse Code, bringing Meta’s AI stack directly to developers and enterprises.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg described the move as a major new pillar for Meta, emphasizing that superintelligence will create fresh opportunities for businesses and individuals.

Chirantan “CJ” Desai has been appointed Chief Enterprise Platform Officer to lead the unit, reporting directly to Zuckerberg and drawing on his prior leadership roles at MongoDB, Cloudflare and ServiceNow.

Desai said the platform will connect AI models and agents with infrastructure and software tools that businesses can use, with security and privacy built in from the start.

Meta aims to leverage its existing relationships with millions of advertisers and hundreds of millions of businesses worldwide, positioning the new service as an extension of its consumer‑facing AI capabilities into the broader technology market.

The launch marks a shift from Meta’s earlier focus on AI models for advertising toward a commercial strategy that places enterprises and developers at the centre of its AI expansion.
