Ciku Muiruri suffered injuries to her eye and skull after an incident at her family’s farm in Thika.

She says more than 100 men forced their way onto the property, linking the assault to a land dispute that has persisted for over three decades.

Muiruri filed a P3 police form and identified her attacker, but she reports that no arrest has been made to date.

According to her account, the intruders broke down the door, seized her laptop, phone and cash, and a police officer escorted her inside before a man struck her on the head with a crowbar.

She alleges the group was led by individuals she named as Yusuf Ali and an unnamed Kalenjin man, acting on behalf of a company called Floriculture.

Muiruri also points to a neighbour, Lucas Kagwamba, as having previously tried to claim tenancy on the land through questionable agreements.

She claims Floriculture obtained eviction orders from the Business Premises Rent Tribunal, but the tribunal chair later stayed those orders, a stay that was reportedly served to the OCPD Thika on the day of the attack, yet the alleged invaders remained on the farm.

In response, Muiruri has initiated legal proceedings against both the police and the Lands Commission over their handling of the matter.

She indicated she will release a detailed history of the Floriculture land dispute in a series of follow‑up videos.
