Kirinyaga Woman Representative Njeri Maina announced the launch of Skinly, a lifestyle brand that combines skincare, fashion and wellness services, at an event held in Bonsai Villa, Gigiri, Nairobi.

The brand operates from Covo Square on Gitanga Road and offers a range of products and services, including skin‑type specific creams, facial analysis, beauty therapy, manicures, pedicures, and a fashion line featuring shoes, dresses, hats and fascinators.

Maina said the concept is designed to provide women with a single destination where they can access beauty and lifestyle services in an environment styled with pink and pastel colours to promote relaxation and celebration.

Six young people under the age of 25 have already been employed by Skinly, and Maina indicated that additional positions will be created as the business expands.

The launch attracted a mix of political, legal and media figures, including Senator James Kamau Murango, MCA David Munyi Mathenge, political strategist Pauline Njoroge and former Law Society of Kenya President Faith Mony Odhiambo.

Maina positioned the venture as a response to economic uncertainty, emphasizing that investing in business and creating jobs can continue despite the approach of the 2027 general election.
