Rahmina Paullete, a Kenyan‑born sailor in the United States Navy, completed the demanding Hospital Corpsman School and was named to the Dean’s List, a recognition reserved for the highest‑performing students in the cohort.

The Dean’s List distinction reflects superior grades and exceptional scholastic performance achieved while managing the intensive medical, clinical and tactical training schedule of the programme.

During the course, Paullete also served as Command Pass Coordinator for Class 185, a leadership role that required organisational discipline and coordination within the military training environment.

The Hospital Corpsman School is the US Navy’s premier technical training programme for enlisted sailors, teaching foundational nursing, emergency response and battlefield trauma care.

Graduates of the school become Hospital Corpsmen, the most decorated enlisted medical rating across the US armed forces and a critical component of naval medical operations.

At the graduation ceremony Paullete wore the US Navy Service Dress White uniform, commonly known as “crackerjacks,” featuring a white jumper, neckerchief, canvas sailor’s hat and white trousers.

Following the ceremony, she will report to the fleet to begin her career as a Hospital Corpsman, joining the operational medical teams that support US Navy missions worldwide.

Family members and Kenyan viewers celebrated the achievement, sharing photos of Paullete with fellow graduates and expressing pride in her representation of Kenya abroad.
