Five regions – the western highlands, the Lake Victoria basin, parts of the Rift Valley, Kisumu County and other nearby areas – are forecast to receive light‑to‑moderate rain accompanied by afternoon and evening thunderstorms.

Kajiado is slated for light showers on Wednesday afternoon, while the rest of the week remains dry.

Machakos mornings will start clear, with light rain expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, and temperatures ranging between 29 °C maximum and 13 °C minimum.

Mombasa will experience warm, humid tropical conditions with early‑morning light showers that quickly clear, reaching a high of 31 °C and a low of 24 °C, while nights become partly cloudy.

Acting KMSA Director Edward Muriuki urged communities in the affected zones to use the updates to protect lives and livelihoods and to adapt to shifting weather patterns.
