The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) announced 41 vacant positions on Tuesday, October 20, inviting Kenyan citizens to apply.

Vacancies span senior and junior roles, including a Senior Office Administrator, Senior Information Management Officer, Legal Officer II (three posts), Investigations Officer II (four posts), Internal Audit and Risk Officer II (two posts), and a range of support positions such as Counselling Officer II, Records Management Officer II, and Office Assistant II (eight posts).

Applicants must submit their applications online via the IPOA Careers portal at https://www.ipoa.go.ke/ipoa/careers.

The submission deadline is 5:00 PM on 10 November 2026.

Successful candidates will need to satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the 2010 Constitution and provide clearance certificates from HELB, EACC, CRB, KRA and DCI.

IPOA will conduct background checks and verify academic certificates before onboarding new staff.

The authority warned that any form of canvassing will result in automatic disqualification.

IPOA clarified that it does not use recruitment agencies, does not require a medical examination before interviews, and charges no fee at any stage of the recruitment process.
