Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen was among the senior government officials who attended the white wedding of Faith Too Cheluget and Allan Wanderi on Saturday, 31 October 2026.

The ceremony, held after a traditional Kalenjin engagement on 24 October at Chemva Farm in Tuiyo, Kapseret, Eldoret, attracted a number of high‑profile guests including Felix Koskei, Dr Chris Kiptoo and Deputy Speaker Gladys Boss Shollei.

Other attendees listed were Chief of Staff Felix Koskei, National Treasury Principal Secretary Dr Chris Kiptoo and Principal Secretary for Immigration Julius Bitok, who publicly congratulated the family.

Faith Too Cheluget is the daughter of Mike Cheluget, Kenya’s Director‑General of Immigration, and his wife Evelyn.

Murkomen shared photographs of the celebration on Facebook, accompanying them with a Bible verse from Proverbs 18:22 and a congratulatory message to the newlyweds.

Social media responses to Murkomen’s post were largely positive, with followers sending warm wishes to the couple.

The wedding, described as one of the season’s most notable social events, featured a white ceremony that followed the earlier Kalenjin engagement, known locally as Koito and Chaik.
