Four clubs have secured places in the 2026 Impala Floodlit semifinals following Saturday’s quarter‑final matches.

KCB Rugby will meet Mwamba RFC in the first semifinal, while Kenya Harlequins (Quins) face Nondies in the second, both fixtures scheduled for 24 October at Impala Grounds, Nairobi.

KCB booked their first semifinal appearance in two years by defeating defending champions Menengai Oilers 31‑24, overturning a 19‑14 deficit in the second half.

The Bankers surged ahead with a 14‑0 lead through tries from Branton Lusisa and Randy Wamah before Oilers rallied, but KCB reclaimed the lead before half‑time and extended it after the break.

Quins overcame Blak Blad 16‑10, reversing a heavy loss to the university side in the previous edition, with penalty kicks by Faran Juma and a try from Nathaniel Mwangi.

Mwamba RFC rallied from a 16‑5 deficit to beat Strathmore Leos 29‑16, scoring three tries after halftime through Douglas Opani and two from Eugene Ojiambo.

Nondies secured the final semifinal spot by defeating hosts Impala 24‑11 in the day’s last quarter‑final.

The tournament final is slated for 31 October, concluding the Impala Floodlit series.
