Former Winners Chapel pastor Ernest Michael Temitope said his signed salary acknowledgement listed a base monthly pay of about KSh 3,336, but the amount actually deposited into his bank account was KSh 3,260 after deductions.

Bank records he shared cover salary deposits from 31 August 2022 to 30 March 2024, documenting the payments received while he served in the ministry.

Additional operational allocation

Temitope noted that the church station where he served received a monthly operational allocation of KSh 667, intended for station needs rather than as a personal allowance.

Personal expenses tied to rural postings

He explained that rural assignments lacked official accommodation, requiring him to cover transport, housing and welfare expenses for church members from his salary.

Consequently, his take‑home pay of roughly KSh 3,260 often had to meet both personal living costs and the financial demands of his pastoral duties.

Dismissal and future plans

Temitope’s salary disclosure follows the public sharing of his March 11 2024 dismissal letter, which cited strategic re‑organisation and required him to vacate official accommodation and return ministry property.

He said his immediate priorities after leaving the church are finding employment and securing stable housing for his family.
