The Kenyan Consulate General in Dubai organised a community open day that served hundreds of Kenyans living in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, providing a range of consular and government services.

The consulate made the services free of charge; participants were required only to pay the standard eCitizen processing fees applicable to each specific request.

The outreach aimed to reduce the need for Kenyans abroad to travel to Kenyan government offices for routine procedures, improving accessibility of essential services.

Consular officials used the event to engage directly with community members, address their concerns and strengthen communication between the mission and Kenyans living overseas.

Cultural performances, including Kenyan music and dance, accompanied the service provision, fostering community ties and celebrating heritage among the diaspora.

The consulate described the open day as a success, citing strong turnout and enthusiastic participation from the community.

Sponsors, exhibitors, service providers and other partners were acknowledged for their role in facilitating both the delivery of services and the cultural activities.

Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs Korir Sing’Oei commended the consulate for its outreach effort and commitment to serving Kenyans outside the country.
