Cape Media Family set up a Vibe47 activation point on Daystar University’s Nairobi campus on Thursday, inviting summit attendees to download the mobile‑first app and register on site.
The Binti Jasiri Summit 2026, themed “Empowering the Brave African Woman,” brought together students, young professionals and invited guests for a full day of talks and discussion.
Guest speakers included Shawn Dalmas, CEO of Dalmas Creations Ltd; governance associate Akinyi Odero; and Everlyn Kimanthi, National Chairperson of the Scientists of Kenya Association.
The event was supported by Daystar University Students Television, TV47, the Daystar University Students Association, Radio 47, Coca‑Cola and Rock Investment Bank.
Vibe47 is described as a mobile‑first digital platform for young Kenyans, currently offering original shows such as Mezesha, Bedsitter, Dream Connect Inn and Unmuted, with additional originals slated for release.
Team members engaged attendees throughout the day, sharing updates on social media to reach those unable to attend and collecting feedback to shape future content and features.
The activation highlighted how to download Vibe47: the app is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and users create an account with an email address or phone number to access the shows.
Cape Media Family thanked the summit organizers and sponsors, noting that the event aligned with Vibe47’s target audience of young Kenyans who spend significant time on their phones.
