Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development Mutahi Kagwe used the opening of the 2026 Nairobi International Trade Fair to urge stakeholders to support young Kenyan enterprises, citing digital and marketing firm Wave 360 Africa as an example of homegrown innovation.

Kagwe made the remarks on September 30 at the Jamhuri Showground, where the trade fair runs from September 28 to October 4 and features exhibitors from agriculture, manufacturing, technology, education, financial services and other sectors.

He praised Wave 360 Africa, a Nairobi‑based integrated marketing firm founded in 2022, for its contribution to Kenya's digital economy and creative sector.

Wave 360 Africa positions itself as a 360‑degree marketing resource, offering strategy, creative production, digital and social media, events, activations and media services to brands across East Africa, with offices in Nairobi and Kampala.

The firm’s portfolio spans government, healthcare, financial services, telecommunications, agriculture, technology, development and FMCG sectors, including public‑health campaigns and youth‑focused programmes.

Wave 360 Africa’s expansion into Uganda in April 2025 reflects its broader ambition to serve clients across the East African region.

CEO Zedekiah Mukoya thanked Kagwe for the recognition, describing it as a reflection of the team’s collective effort and reinforcing the firm’s founding approach.

Kagwe’s public endorsement at a high‑profile national event underscores the growing importance of young, locally driven creative firms in Kenya’s broader economic conversation.
