Business Ireland Kenya (BIK) has formally changed its name to the Irish Chamber of Commerce Kenya, introducing a new visual identity and a refreshed mandate to deepen long‑term commercial ties between Ireland and Kenya.
The organisation, founded in December 2013 with support from the Irish Embassy, has spent almost thirteen years building a network of Kenyan, Irish and international professionals and firms.
The rebrand features a rooted shamrock logo in Shamrock Green and Kenyan Earth brown, symbolising Irish heritage anchored in Kenyan soil.
According to Chairperson Katherine Muldoon, the emblem’s roots represent foundational connections, while the shamrock itself remains a recognisable Irish symbol.
The Chamber will operate under the strategic pillars Connect, Collaborate and Capitalise, continuing to host industry roundtables, bilateral networking forums and high‑level trade initiatives.
The transition was celebrated at an official reception co‑hosted by Irish Ambassador Caitríona Ingoldsby and Ms. Muldoon at the Irish Residence in Nairobi on 29 October 2026.
The event gathered diplomatic leaders, executives and trade partners to mark more than a decade of expanding bilateral enterprise.
Alongside the rebrand, the Chamber launched a revamped digital hub at irishchamber.co.ke, detailing membership tiers, corporate partnerships and upcoming trade programmes.
The Chamber invites Irish, Kenyan and international businesses seeking to expand across both corridors to join its network.
