Breadfast has introduced Breadfast Food, a restaurant‑delivery service that lets users order meals from a curated network of restaurants through the same application used for groceries, bakery items, coffee and other categories.

The service follows a beta phase that the company said attracted strong customer adoption before the full launch.

Breadfast will fulfil restaurant orders using its existing logistics infrastructure and will run daily promotions and discounts for restaurant customers.

Co‑founder and chief operating officer Muhammad Habib explained that consumers increasingly prefer a single app for everyday services, noting that customers do not separate groceries, meals, coffee or personal care in their minds.

Breadfast expects the restaurant arm to generate hundreds of delivery jobs as it expands its partner network and rolls the service out to additional Egyptian governorates.

Why Breadfast is adding restaurant delivery

The launch aligns with a broader trend in Egypt’s digital‑commerce market, where platforms add multiple categories to boost order frequency and retain customers.

Breadfast sees the restaurant segment as a way to leverage its logistics network and technology across a larger addressable market, building on its evolution from a grocery‑only service to an everyday convenience platform.

The company said it will continue investing in technology, logistics and customer experience as it expands its presence across Egypt, though it did not disclose financial details or the current number of restaurant partners.
