The Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Salim Mvurya, announced that tickets for the Bayern Munich versus Ajax Amsterdam match will be sold from Thursday, 5 November, at 6 pm.
The lowest‑priced tickets will cost KSh2,500, with additional categories priced at KSh3,500, KSh5,000 and up to KSh20,000 depending on the seating section.
Sales will be conducted exclusively through the official Talanta Sports City website, and fans are warned against purchasing from unauthorised sellers.
Premium options include skyboxes and hospitality packages, with Platinum and Gold tiers managed via the stadium’s dedicated hospitality contact.
The match, scheduled for 5 January 2027, will open the 60,000‑seat Raila Odinga International Stadium in Talanta Sports City, Nairobi.
Mvurya said the event will feature a 12‑hour fan festival with music, activities celebrating Kenyan sporting heroes and concierge services for attendees.
The government confirmed that both clubs have committed in writing to field their strongest possible first‑team line‑ups for the encounter.
Mvurya highlighted that the fixture serves as a test for stadium operations, security, transport and crowd‑management ahead of Kenya’s co‑hosting of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations with Uganda and Tanzania.
Funding for the event is fully sourced from private‑sector partners, reflecting growing corporate confidence in Kenya’s sports industry.
