Tickets for the Bayern Munich‑Ajax friendly will be sold online from Thursday 6 PM East Africa Time, with the lowest tier priced at Ksh 2,500.

Sales will be conducted in phases through the official portal www.TalantaSportsCity.com, and buyers are urged to use only verified accounts to avoid fraud.

Additional price categories are set at Ksh 3,500, Ksh 5,000 and Ksh 20,000, reflecting different seating sections within the 60,000‑seat stadium.

Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya said the match will be accompanied by a 12‑hour fan festival, international entertainment acts and activities celebrating Kenyan sporting heroes.

The friendly, scheduled for 5 January, will mark the official opening of the Raila Odinga International Stadium, which is slated to host the 2027 PAMOJA AFCON matches.

Mvurya emphasized that the event’s financing comes entirely from private‑sector contributions, removing concerns about public‑fund usage.

Both Bayern Munich and AFC Ajax have signed written commitments to field their strongest possible line‑ups for the encounter.

The match will also serve as a test of the stadium’s security, transport, hospitality and crowd‑control arrangements ahead of future AFCON duties.
