SportyBet Kenya made a major statement today at Weston Hotel after being unveiled as the title sponsor of the 2025 Kipchumba Karori Eldoret International Volleyball Tournament. The partnership reflects the company’s growing commitment to Kenyan sport and the development of youth talent across the country.
The high profile championship, organized by the Kenya Volleyball Federation, will run from December 18 to 21 at Eldoret Polytechnic and has rapidly grown into one of the region’s most anticipated volleyball events. SportyBet Kenya has injected KSh 4 million into the tournament to support its growth, increase competitiveness, and enhance its visibility on the regional stage.

This year’s edition has drawn teams from across East Africa, with strong representation from Kenya, Uganda and Sudan. Competitors will take part in several categories including elite clubs, self supporting teams, universities, colleges, secondary schools and primary schools.
The prize structure underlines the ambition of the tournament. Senior Elite champions will take home KSh 1,000,000, runners up will earn KSh 500,000, and third place will receive KSh 250,000. Self supporting teams will compete for KSh 500,000, KSh 300,000, KSh 200,000 and KSh 100,000 for positions one through four. University, college, high school and primary categories also feature tiered rewards, with winners receiving KSh 100,000 and fourth placed teams earning between KSh 15,000 and KSh 20,000.

In a major boost for youth development, SportyBet Kenya and the tournament patron have directed that all primary and secondary school teams will participate at no cost. This move eliminates a financial barrier that often keeps young athletes away from top level competitions and reinforces SportyBet Kenya’s investment in grassroots talent.
As the tournament approaches, SportyBet Kenya’s influence is clear both on and off the court. Through enhanced branding, fan engagement and support for community driven sport, the company is helping transform the event into a platform for opportunity, pride and long term growth for volleyball in the region.
